Food Processing Expo 2017 was a huge success with more than 2,500 participants in the two-day event held February 8-9 at the Sacramento Convention Center.
Andrea Marr, VP of Energy Services and Brent Beckwith, Account Executive hosted a Regatta booth at the Expo. Regatta featured cogeneration and microgrid solutions for food processors who are focused on high operational efficiency and sustainable practices. The day prior to the Expo, a first-time Food Processing Workforce Summit was well attended and featured an interactive forum providing information and guidance for food processors on a variety of human resource issues facing the industry. Expo workshops also attracted large audiences. Workshop topics included Finding a Co-Packer, Prop 65, Water Conservation and Preparing for Food Safety Audits.
