The Nova Construction Innovation Awards are accepting nominations at the moment and the deadline for receipt is March 31st 2013.
In the last 25 years, CIF has presented NOVA Awards to more than 90 innovations from 15 countries. Winners represent all areas of construction – design, fabrication, building, detailing, rehabilitation, energy, contract administration, labor relations, management, training, procurement, maintenance, equipment, materials, concepts or methods.
Innovations must improve quality, safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Winners are selected by a jury of independent experts. NOVA Awards are presented by the Construction Innovation Forum at the Construction Users Round Table (CURT) annual conference.

Capstone Turbines were a recipient of the award in 2011 and it shows how quality is recognised in this sector.
Jim Crouse, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Capstone Turbine Corporation told COSPP that his company are “honoured to be recognized in partnership with GEM Inc. as the innovator behind the world’s most energy efficient data center by the Construction Innovation Forum.”
“The project we won on featured drastically reduced energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions. That project, the Green Data Center at Syracuse University, is a remarkable example of how innovation leads to a clean, green, reliable source of energy and exemplifies the significant contributions of our fellow NOVA Award winners.”
