Thermax Profetherm Solutions include Lithium Bromide absorption chillers as a cost effective alternative to electricity-driven compression chillers. Our absorption chillers also known as VAMs (vapour absorption machines) are extensively used in a variety of industries as well as commercial buildings for process-cooling and air-conditioning.
Thermax Profetherm range of absorption chillers cater to industrial-cooling, commercial air-conditioning as well as industrial and space heating needs. THERMAX GAS FIRED COOLING TECHNOLOGY
Thermax is the first absorption chiller manufacturer in the world to commercialize the ultimate in absorption technology – the Triple Effect Absorption Chiller. This is a major breakthrough in the field of refrigeration and air-conditioning. Triple effect absorption chillers have a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 1.8, which is nearly 30% higher than the double effect absorption chillers. This helps the user to reduce the energy requirement for cooling significantly.
Direct fuel fired double effect machines have a furnace as an integral part of the high temperature generator, where a variety of liquid or gaseous fuels can be fired to drive the absorption machine.
