CS_Foothill-CollegeLocated in the Bay Area south of San Francisco and north of San Jose, the 122-acre campus of Foothill College serves an enrollment of more than 17,000 students.

The Olympic-sized swimming pool is heated year-round by the college’s array of four Capstone C60 ICHP combined heat and power microturbine systems.

Approximately eight miles south of Foothill College, the Olympic-sized aquatics complex of its sister college, De Anza College in Cupertino, has an almost identical 240kW array of ICHPs to cut its energy costs as well.
